PROCESS

All of our client portfolios are fully customizable. As an independent firm, we apply a rigorous series of steps to ensure a robust investment strategy that meets client objectives with a strong focus on risk management, yielding peace of mind.

 

Our process begins with an open conversation about our clients’ goals and objectives. Common objectives we see include retirement planning, small business corporate tax planning, and preservation of wealth.

 

From there, we consult with our partners in the investment community to identify appropriate products based on client goals.

 

We consider a variety of factors when developing an investment proposal. Some of these factors include: investment composition, historical performance and volatility in comparison to competitors, asset manager track record, and risk-adjusted return ratios. We also consider the impacts of inflationary pressures, interest rate adjustments, geopolitical events, economic policy, and changes to Canadian tax law. Our goal is to help our clients connect their goals with appropriate product and investment strategies.

We make use of professionally managed investment products through reputable asset managers with strong records of consistent performance. We offer a fully open product shelf that integrates a combination of the following types of investments:
